Teacher's from Inclusive and Special Education Program celebrate DIPEIB-Napo's 24th Anniversary

 Inclusive and Special Education Program had it´s own table at Napo provinces Intercultural and Bilingual Education Department's (DIPEIB-Napo) 24th Anniversary celebration. The teachers from the program attended the table and shared their insight on the program, the teacher trainings and didactic material they have recieved. The table was decorated with works by students and teachers.
 Names of the months in kichwa. The names come from natural year rotation. For instance, January is called Puyu Killa or Cloudy Month. December is Mishki Killa or Sweet Month.
 Different crafts made by the teachers and students. The weather wane describes a kichwa student's living space or sphere of habitation. Yaku means water, sacha is jungle, killa is month or moon, allpa is the earth and urku means mountain.
Teacher's chairman María Dolores Shiguango from Bartolomé Marín school explained about the use of braille materials developed by FENCE, Federación Nacional de Ciegos de el Ecuador, Ecuador's National Federation for Blind People. Teacher's where trained in inclusive methods for blind and low vision students by FENCE trainers, thanks to an interinstitutional agreement between FACE, FENCE and DIPEIB-Napo.
