Inclusion is...

The school year is ending. For bilingual education system the july 17th is the last day and the children leave for their vacations.

The teachers stay behing few days more. Getting ready for the next year and going through this year.

Hopefully this can be a learning experience for us all.

We have done a lot. God has done even more.

There are 366 students included in the program with special needs. Some of them have a physical disability, others learning disabilities or intelectual disabilities.

The important thing is that all of them have teachers taking care of them.

In total we have 43 teachers in 34 schools.

The bilingual education department has 120 schools in Napo province. We have reached a fourth of them in two years.

Now we need to reach out for the rest of them and make sure all the studenst needs are covered.

Another part of the program is reaching out for the children and youth at homes.

There are still people with disabilities who has no access to education.

Either because of their age, they are past basic education age, or because of their disabilities. There are children and youth with severe disabilities that just aren't able to get to school.

So, what should we do with them?

Again, God had an answer.

Ecuador's government opened a program for students at home. So, now we can send our teachers to students home and they can learn there at their own speed.

Also God has been preparing way for occupational studies for people with disabilities. A new challenge for us.

Challenges are great! Now we just need someone to do it.

So, God has sent as a new collaborator from Finland who happens to know about occupational studies for intelectually disabled students.

Why worry when God knows our needs before even before we do?
